A technology-focused event where teams create new projects in 24 hours. You can build anything you want, whether that be a mobile app, a website, or even a robot!
Students of all skill levels are encouraged to attend, even if you’ve never programmed before. HackTCNJ is beginner friendly and we will host various workshops throughout the weekend that can help you get started.
The first step to attend would be to register. Undergraduate students are encouraged to register but we would also love for high schoolers to join us! If you are under 18 and plan to attend, your parent or guardian must sign a waiver (link to form).
There is such a thing as too many cooks in the kitchen! Including yourself, teams can be a max of 4. Now this doesn't mean that you HAVE to create a team of 4, but that is the cap we're setting it at for this event.
Yes! Please come even if you cannot form a team prior to the hackathon. We'll have a Discord channel open for people to find team members. We will also have a team formation event Saturday morning when the event begins!
You need a valid ID card for admission (School/College ID is valid). Bring a laptop, charger, and a change of clothes. If you are staying overnight, please bring a sleeping bag and any toiletries you may need. Everything else will be provided!
